Physical rubber prices declined further on Tuesday
Date: 13-06-2012Physical rubber prices declined further on Tuesday due to the overall weakness of the commodity in domestic as well as international market, the futures though made a mixed closing but spot prices remained weak till last.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety closed at Rs. 184.50/kg as compared to its previous closing of Rs.186.50/kg while RSS-5 variety closed at Rs.180/kg as compared to its previous closing of Rs.183/kg.
In the futures market, the contract of RSS-4 for the June delivery closed at Rs. 183.56 as compared to its previous closing of Rs. 183.70, the contract of July delivery closed at Rs.186.40 as compared to its previous closing of Rs.185.42 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
