L&T gains on completing acquisition of Airbus DS’ entire stake in LTCL

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is currently trading at Rs. 1138.65, up by 4.30 points or 0.38% from its previous closing of Rs. 1134.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1135.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1143.40 and Rs. 1135.00 respectively. So far 79,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1249.95 on 20-Sep-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 863.97 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1156.00 and Rs. 1128.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,59,473.00 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 57.33% and 42.67% respectively in the company.

Larsen & Toubro has completed the purchase of the entire stake held by Airbus Defence and Space GmbH (Airbus DS) in L&T Cassidian (LTCL) -- a joint venture between L&T and Airbus DS, in accordance with the Share Purchase Agreement.

LTCL is a 74% subsidiary of L&T. Balance 26% stake is held by Airbus DS which has been acquired by L&T at a price as determined by an Independent valuer, thus making LTCL a wholly owned subsidiary.
