Physical rubber prices consolidate on Wednesday

Physical rubber prices steadied on Wednesday after witnessing a continuous decline for the last few days, while the futures had shown a slight improvement.

Spot prices for RSS- 4 and RSS- 5 varieties closed unchanged at Rs.184.50/ kg and Rs. 180/ kg respectively.

In the future markets, the contract of RSS- 4 for June delivery closed at Rs. 183.50 compared to its previous closing of Rs 183.58, while the contract of July delivery closed at Rs.185.02 compared to its previous closing of Rs.186.35 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
