Reliance Industries (RIL) has unveiled a polyester brand -- RElan in Bengaluru. Created by the company’s polyester division, RElan is a B2B2C initiative which creates co-branded polyester apparel range.

Along with the launch of the new brand, the company is also to create a robust fibre-to-fabric value chain to ensure that these innovations match the commercial expectations of fashion brands.

The company’s R&D centre is also working to develop many other products for home textile, industrial to construction as well.

RIL is India’s largest private sector company. The company’s activities span hydrocarbon exploration and production, petroleum refining and marketing, petrochemicals, retail and 4G digital services.
