Axis Bank soars on entering into MoU with IIM Lucknow

Axis Bank is currently trading at Rs. 461.40, up by 9.55 points or 2.11% from its previous closing of Rs. 451.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 465.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 469.50 and Rs. 456.95 respectively. So far 745733 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 547.00 on 25-Jul-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 424.60 on 10-Jan-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 490.00 and Rs. 447.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 110550.76 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 30.35%, while institutions and non-institutions held 58.74% and 10.91% respectively.

Axis Bank has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) through which all the female candidates getting into the one-year executive MBA, International Programme in Management for Executives (IPMX) programme will be given an option to join the bank after completing their degree from IIM Lucknow.
