Kotak Mahindra Bank reports 20% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Kotak Mahindra Bank has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2017.

The Bank has reported 22.26% rise in its net profit at Rs 994.31 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 813.29 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 8.97% at Rs 5714.02 crore for Q2FY18 as compared Rs 5243.58 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidate basis, the Bank has reported 19.82% rise in its net profit at Rs 1440.68 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1202.40 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY17. Total income of the Bank too increased by 8.70% at Rs 9147.03 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 8414.95 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.
