HDFC Bank spurts on inking pact with Wells Fargo & Co

HDFC Bank is currently trading at Rs 543.45, up by 9.05 points or 1.69% from its previous closing of Rs 534.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 530.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs 545.95 and Rs 530.15 respectively. So far 29416 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 557.70 on 20-Apr-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs 400.45 on 19-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 552.40 and Rs 530.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 127741.66 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 23.15% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 41.18% and 18.38% respectively.

Wells Fargo & Co. (WFC) inked pact with HDFC Bank for extending its ExpressSend remittance network payout locations in India. With this deal, WFC’s customers can now select from a network in India of over 5,200 branches and more than 16,000 ATMs for remittances to India. WFC has added HDFC Bank's more than 2,500 branches and over 8,900 ATMs.

Wells Fargo ExpressSend users can send up to $5,000 per day to their beneficiary's HDFC Bank account using the account-based ExpressSend service for a $5 fee. The fee for account-based transfers to HDFC Bank will be waived through August 31.
