Date: 30-10-2017Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2017.
The company has reported a marginal rise of 3.13% in its net profit at Rs 5130.74 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 4974.92 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 6.73% at Rs 20,896.32 crore for Q2FY18 as compared Rs 19,578.65 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
ONGC is India’s largest government-run corporation and produces about 70% of India’s crude oil and natural gas. The corporation is the biggest public sector commercial organization in India.
