Central Bank of India reports net loss of Rs 750.41 crore in Q2

Central Bank of India has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2017.

The Bank has reported a net loss of Rs 750.41 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2017 as compared to a net loss of 641.82 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the Bank decreased marginally by 0.99% at Rs 6896.26 crore for Q2FY18 as compared Rs 6965.45 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the July-September quarter of the current fiscal increased to 17.27%, as compared to 13.70% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 9.53% in Q2FY18.
