Motherson Sumi Systems has reported results for the quarter ended June 30, 2011.

The company’s net profit for the quarter has zoomed by 123.86% at Rs 65.50 crore as compared to Rs 29.26 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010. Its total income has increased by 38.03% at Rs 775.11 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 561.55 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

On consolidated basis, the Group‘s net profit for the quarter has registered mild gains of 9.60% at Rs 65.27 crore as compared to Rs 59.55 crore for the June quarter of the last year. Its total income has increased by 20.73% at Rs 2303.51 crore for the Q1FY12 as compared to Rs 1907.99 crore for the Q1FY11.
