Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) is planning to nearly double natural gas production in four years as it invests billions of dollars to produce from newer discoveries. The company is investing Rs 92,000 crore in 35 major projects which include 14 to bring new finds to production and six to improve recovery from the ageing fields.

ONGC is India’s largest government-run corporation and produces about 70% of India’s crude oil and natural gas. The corporation is the biggest public sector commercial organization in India.
