Reliance Industries’ (RIL) telecom arm - Reliance Jio Infocomm (Jio) is planning to launch its own Virtual Reality (VR) app in 2018. Moreover, the company is hoping to collaborate with experts at Birmingham City University in England.

Aiming to explore potential partnerships in the future, the company’s Head and Creative Director visited the university to learn more about how it is training the next generation of VR professionals.

RIL is India’s largest private sector company. The company’s activities span hydrocarbon exploration and production, petroleum refining and marketing, petrochemicals, retail and 4G digital services.
