FIIs were net buyers of Rs 523.67 crore in index futures and options segments on June 18

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 523.67 crore in index futures and options segments on Monday, June 18, 2012.

FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 189.45 crore and they also bought index options worth Rs 334.22 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 359.62 crore while they bought stock options worth Rs 4.74 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on June 18, 2012 stood at 32.93%.
