Astra Microwave shines on getting fundamental grade of ‘4/5’ from CRISIL Research

Astra Microwave is currently trading at Rs. 39.00, up by 0.25 points or 0.65% from its previous closing of Rs. 38.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 39.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 39.50 and Rs. 38.70 respectively. So far 3435 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 43.60 on 30-May-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 21.55 on 30-Jun-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 40.10 and Rs. 37.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 321.98 crore.

Astra Microwave Products has received CRISIL IER fundamental grade of ‘4/5’ from rating agency, CRISIL Research. The grade indicates that the company’s fundamentals are ‘Superior’ relative to other listed equity securities in India. Moreover, the rating agency has assigned a valuation grade of 5/5 to the company.

The fundamental grade assigned to the company reflects its technical capability in this niche space and the established record of developing critical products (like radar components) in association with government agencies.

Astra Microwave Products is engaged in designing and manufacturing of radio frequency (RF) and microwave super components and sub-systems that are used in areas of defence, space and civil communication systems. Presently company’s products are used in VSAT operations, radars, navigational equipment, public mobile trunk radio (PMTR), WLL, cellular GSM/DCS or PCS networks.
