Interglobe Aviation gains on submitting bid for operating UDAN flights

Interglobe Aviation is currently trading at Rs. 1138.10, up by 2.40 points or 0.21% from its previous closing of Rs. 1135.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1138.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1144.80 and Rs. 1129.75 respectively. So far 12,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1346.35 on 17-Aug-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 814.00 on 02-Jan-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1200.00 and Rs. 1126.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 43,619.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 77.91%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.26% and 5.82% respectively.

Interglobe Aviation (IndiGo) has submitted bids under the regional connectivity scheme’s second round of bidding. This is the first time IndiGo has officially expressed interest to participate in the scheme.

The financial bids in the second round of the scheme -- Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik (UDAN) -- would be opened on December 14, while the technical bids were opened on December 5.

IndiGo provides air transportation services in India and internationally. The company primarily operates IndiGo passenger airline.
