Maruti Suzuki India has reported 13.75% rise in its production to 1,22,096 units in December 2017, as compared to 1,07,338 units in December 2016. Of total, the company manufactured 32,418 vehicles under mini segment (including Alto, Wagon R) in December 2017, as against 30,575 units manufactured in corresponding month previous year.

The company manufactured 56,942 vehicles under Compact segment; 1,986 vehicles under Midsize; 18,935 units under Utility Vehicles segment and 11,304 units under Vans category. The company has also produced 486 vehicles under CV segment (including super carry) in December 2017, as against 15 units produced in corresponding month previous year.
