-4.50 (-1.39%) In order to invest in electric and driver-less technology, Tata Motors’ subsidiary -- Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is planning to open new software hub at Shannon in Ireland. The UK-based luxury car maker is planning to create 150 jobs at the site, where it will research new technologies related to battery-powered cars and automated driving.
The new facility will provide an exciting opportunity for JLR to pioneer future autonomous and electrification technologies.
