Sun TV Network’s Q1 net registers 10% growth at Rs 187.62 crore

Sun TV Network has reported results for the quarter ended June 30, 2011

The company ‘s net profit for the quarter  has registered 9.75% at Rs 187.62 crore as compared to Rs 170.95 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010. Its total income has increased by 4.33% at Rs 471.28 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 451.72 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Sun TV Network’s board of directors at its meeting held on August 01, 2011, have declared an interim dividend of Rs 2.50 per share (50%).
