Indraprastha Gas’ Q1 net registers 40% growth at Rs 80.07 crore

Indraprastha Gas has reported results for the quarter ended June 30, 2011.

The company’s net profit after tax for the quarter has registered 40.12% at Rs 80.07 crore as compared to Rs 57.14 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010. Its total income has increased by 59.93% at Rs 538.74 crore for the June quarter of the current fiscal from Rs 336.87 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Indraprastha Gas (IGL), is engaged in distribution of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Piped Natural Gas (PNG).company's core business is to distribute CNG and PNG in Delhi. It has presence in areas including Sarita Vihar, Jasola, Dwarka , Rohini, Pitampura, Janakpuri, Maya Enclave, Saket, Hauz Khas, Paschim Vihar, Vikaspuri, Dilshad Garden and many more.
