-7.00 (-0.35%) Bharti Airtel, a leading global telecommunications company with operations in 20 countries across Asia and Africa, has introduced a talent hunt - Airtel Rising Stars, for under-16 soccer players. It will cover 16 cities across India including Mumbai, Delhi, Goa, Kolkata, Bangalore, Calicut, Chandigarh and Jaipur.
The company will undertake the program in association Manchester United and with support of the respective State and District Football Associations. It is likely to start this by next month and will conduct the three-month long hunt, which aims participation from over 10,000 young soccer players. It will select 12 talented footballers who will get a chance to attend a week long training camp with Manchester United Soccer School, England.
