Physical rubber prices remains unchanged on Tuesday
Date: 27-06-2012Physical rubber prices steadied continuously on Tuesday due to deficit demand from tyre sector and depressed economic overview of market activities ,while the futures had made a slight improvement with a mixed trend at closing.
Spot prices for RSS- 4 variety remained unchanged at Rs.186/ kg, while RSS- 5 variety closed at Rs. 180.50/ kg as compared to its previous close of Rs. 181.50/ kg.
In the futures market, contract of RSS- 4 July delivery improved to Rs. 184.97 compared to its previous closing of Rs.184.50, while contract of August delivery closed at Rs. 182.15 compared to its previous closing of Rs. 181.48 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
