Usher Agro signs MoU with US based Company to manufacture Fortified Rice

Usher Agro has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a US based Company to manufacture Fortified Rice. With this technology tie up / arrangement the Company shall be able to manufacture 'Fortified Rice' which is fortified with micro nutrients that are essential for addressing malnutrition.

Fortified Rice is also having rising demand amongst the health conscious people across the world. After this technology tie up the Company will manufacture 'Fortified Rice' from Basmati as well as Non-Basmati Rice.

Usher Agro is engaged in the business of Rice Milling (mainly Non-Basmati) and Wheat flour milling with existing milling capacities of 252,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) for paddy milling and 75,000 TPA for wheat flour milling at its three factories located at Mathura, Chatta and Buxar.
