JSW Steel has reported crude steel production of 1.46 million tonnes (MT) in January 2018, a growth of 5% over the corresponding month in 2017. The production of rolled products (long) increased to 0.37 MT compared to 0.30 MT in January 2017, representing a surge of 24%. The production of rolled products (flat) decreased to 1.01 MT, a fall of 2%, as compared to 1.03 MT in January 2017.
