-65.00 (-1.69%) Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) construction arm -- L&T Construction -- has bagged orders worth Rs 1,585 crore across various business segments. Transportation Infrastructure business has won an order worth Rs 513 crore from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the four laning of the highway in the Aurangabad to Karodi section of NH-211 (New NH No 52) in the state of Maharashtra on EPC mode.
The Power Transmission & Distribution Business has bagged order worth Rs 500 crore. The business has secured an order for constructing 220kV & 110kV Transmission Lines in Kochi, Kerala. The business has secured another order from Power Grid Corporation of India for rural electrification works in Jammu & Kashmir.
The Water & Effluent Treatment Business has won an order worth Rs 371 crore from Rural Water Supply and Sanitation, Odisha for providing water supply to Komana, Nuapada, Boden and Khariar Blocks of Nuapada District in Odisha. Besides, the Metallurgical & Material Handling Business has bagged orders worth Rs 201 crore in the area of Blast Furnace Revamp & product business.
