Larsen & Toubro Ltd.

L&T Construction, the wholly owned subsidiary of Larsen and Toubro (L&T) has secured new orders worth over Rs 2,040 crore from a leading infrastructure developer.

Further, the scope of work includes six laning of the existing road including construction of rail over bridges, underpasses, flyovers, major bridges and viaducts. The highway will be executed on EPC (engineering, procurement construction) mode.   

The mega project is a part of national highway system being developed under the national highways development programme (NHDP).                           

L&T Construction is the largest construction organization in the country. It figures among the World’s 77th Top Contractors and ranks 29th in global ranking as per the survey conducted by the reputed international construction magazine Engineering News Record, USA (August 2010).
