NCLT sanctions Scheme of Amalgamation of two companies with M&M’s arm

National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has sanctioned the Scheme of Amalgamation of Mahindra Telecommunications Investment and Gateway Housing with Mahindra & Mahindra’s (M&M) arm -- Mahindra Holdings and their respective Shareholders. Mahindra Telecommunications Investment and Gateway Housing are wholly owned subsidiaries of Mahindra Holdings.

Consequent to the same, Mahindra Telecommunications Investment and Gateway Housing have ceased to be subsidiaries of the Mahindra Holdings and in turn of the company with effect from February 27, 2018.

M&M is the flagship company of the Mahindra Group, a multinational conglomerate based in Mumbai, India. Amongst the various business interests of its parent group, the company is mainly involved in the automobile manufacturing. It is one of the leading auto companies of India.
