Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) has been declared as the successful bidder under Tariff based competitive bidding to establish transmission system for New WR-NR 765 kV Inter-Regional Corridor on build, own operate and maintain (BOOM) basis.

The Letter of Intent (LOI) has been received on March 1, 2018. The Transmission system traverses in the state of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh and includes 765kV transmission line.

Power Grid Corporation of India is an Indian state-owned electric utilities company headquartered in Gurgaon, India. Power Grid transmits about 50% of the total power generated in India on its transmission network.
