Power Grid Corporation of India has entered into a Term Loan facility agreement for Rs 5,000 crore with State Bank of India (SBI) on March 12, 2018 for meeting Capital expenditure for expansion/renovation and setting up various undergoing and new transmission and other projects in the company and in identified SPVs/JVs of the company.

Power Grid Corporation of India is an Indian state-owned electric utilities company headquartered in Gurgaon, India. Power Grid transmits about 50% of the total power generated in India on its transmission network.
