Power Finance Corporation will consider a proposal for raising of resources i.e. Market Borrowing program for the Financial Year 2018-19 through issuance of bonds, term loans from Banks/FIs, Commercial Paper, Syndicate Loans etc. from domestic & international markets. The board of directors will meet on March 26, 2018 for the same.
The funds will actually be raised from time to time during the Financial Year 2018-19, with the approval of competent authority as per powers delegated in this regard.
PFC provides large range of financial products and services like project term loan, lease financing, direct discounting of bills, short term loan, and consultancy services for various power projects in generation, transmission, distribution sector as well as for renovation and modernization of existing power projects.
