FIIs stood as net buyers in equities on August 02, 2011: SEBI

The FIIs on Tuesday were net buyers in equities while they were net sellers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 1848.80 crore against gross sell of Rs 1691.60 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 157.20 crore in equities on August 02, 2011.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 817.90 crore with gross sales of Rs 1270.30 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 452.40 crore in debt on August 02, 2011.
