FIIs net sellers of Rs 651.17 crore in futures and options segments on August 02

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 651.17 crore in futures and options segments on Tuesday, August 02, 2011.

FII’s were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 630.81 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 380.17 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 407.90 crore and they bought stock options to the tune of Rs 7.37 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on August 02, 2011 is 35.40%
