-1.50 (-0.58%) Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCI) is reportedly planning to raise Rs 30,000 crore in the current fiscal year 2018-19 through long-term borrowing programme. Out of this Rs 30,000 crore, Rs 20,000 crore would be raised by selling bonds, with the rest, Rs 10,000 crore, through long-term loans.
PGCI is an Indian state-owned electric utilities company headquartered in Gurgaon, India. Power Grid transmits about 50% of the total power generated in India on its transmission network.
