M&M rises on unveiling new Bolero Maxi Truck at Rs 4.08 lakh

M&M is currently trading at Rs. 724.00, up by 5.40 points or 0.75% from its previous closing of Rs. 718.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 718.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 725.00 and Rs. 717.45 respectively. So far 15,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 874.75 on 28-Oct-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 621.75 on 18-May-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 727.55 and Rs. 697.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 44,451 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 25.26% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 47.21% and 21.95% respectively.

In addition to its pick-up portfolio, automotive major Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has launched -- Bolero Maxi Truck. The company has priced that product at Rs 4.08 lakh (ex-showroom BS3 Karnataka, standard version).

The launch of Bolero Maxi Truck is the company’s step to consolidate its leadership position in the commercial vehicle industry. The product is powered by MDI engine and comes with stylish new looks, power steering option and better interiors.

Recently, the ccompany, with a view of targeting transporters and corporate segment, had unveiled a new CNG variant of its mini truck 'Maxximo'. The company priced that product at Rs 3.99 lakh (Ex showroom Delhi).
