M&M rises on the bourses

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is currently trading at Rs. 779.40, up by 0.10 points or 0.01% from its previous closing of Rs. 779.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 780.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 784.00 and Rs. 773.45 respectively. So far 17155 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 802.80 on 01-Feb-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 612.50 on 28-Sep-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 788.00 and Rs. 763.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 97167.93 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 21.61%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 54.09% and 24.13% respectively.

Mahindra Defence has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ShinMaywa Industries. Signing this MOU offers both the companies to join forces in order to set up MRO services / manufacturing and assembling of structural parts & components for US-2 amphibian aircraft.

Mahindra is the only Indian private sector OEM for small aircraft which sold in many countries globally. Given their joint capabilities it is only natural that both companies have come together and are confident of delivering solutions for this aircraft as mandated by the Indian Ministry of Defence.
