HDFC Bank reports 20% rise in Q4 net profit

HDFC Bank has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2018.

The bank has reported rise of 20.28% in its net profit at Rs 4,799.28 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018, as compared to Rs 3,990.09 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 18.50% at Rs 25,549.66 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 21,560.66 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017.

For the year ended March 31, 2018, the bank has posted a rise of 20.19% in its net profit at Rs 17,486.75 crore as compared to Rs 14,549.66 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of bank increased 16.98% at Rs 95,461.66 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 81,602.45 crore for the period ended March 31, 2017.
