Physical rubber prices remain unchanged on Thursday
Date: 06-07-2012Physical rubber prices steadied on Thursday due to weak atmosphere.The market managed to continue at the existing levels on supply concerns due to ensuing widespread rains in plantation areas.
Spot prices for RSS- 4 and RSS- 5 variety remained unchanged at Rs. 187/ kg and Rs. 181.50/ kg respectively.
In the futures market, the contract of RSS- 4 July delivery improved to Rs.186 compared to its previous closing of Rs. 185.60, while contract of August delivery closed at Rs. 186 compared to its previous closing of Rs. 185.56 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
