FIIs stood as net sellers in equities on August 03, 2011: SEBI
Date: 03-08-2011The FIIs on Wednesday were net sellers in equities while they were net buyers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 1866.10 crore against gross sell of Rs 1948.80 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 82.70 crore in equities on August 03, 2011.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 660.50 crore with gross sales of Rs 584.10 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 76.40 crore in debt on August 03, 2011.
