SBI reports net loss of Rs 7,718.17 crore in Q4

State Bank of India (SBI) has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2018.   

The bank has reported net loss of Rs 7,718.17 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to a net profit of Rs 2,814.82 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank has increased by 18.57% to Rs 68,436.06 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 57,720.07 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017. 

For the year ended March 31, 2018, the bank has reported net loss of Rs 6,547.45 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 10,484.10 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY17. However, total income of the bank increased by 23.08% to Rs 2,59,663.83 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2,10,979.17 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.
