Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) construction arm - L&T Construction has won orders worth Rs 2,112 crore.

The company’s Buildings & Factories Business has secured orders worth Rs 1,565 crore. The order has been secured from Airport Authority of India for the Modernization of Chennai Airport, Phase-II, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This brown field project is to be completed in two phases within stringent time lines and involves the construction of 2.1 million Sq. ft. of passenger terminal building including basement, finishing works, electro-mechanical works and airport Systems. Another order has been received from a leading developer for the construction of Multi Level Car Parking with an integrated commercial mall at Chennai airport. This project involves the construction of 1 million Sq. ft. of Multi Level Car Parking Building including 2.5 lakh Sq. ft. of commercial mall on design and build model.

L&T Construction’s Power Transmission & Distribution Business has secured a major EPC order worth Rs 547 crore from a reputed customer. This order is for turnkey construction of EHV Substations.
