Power Finance Corporation Ltd.

Power Finance Corporation (PFC) has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2018. 

The company has reported a net profit of Rs 935.60 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to net loss of Rs 3,409.49 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 10% at Rs 6,376.68 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 5,797.07 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017.

For the year ended March 31, 2018, the company has posted around 3-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 5,855.22 crore as compared to Rs 2,126.39 crore for the previous year. However, total income of company decreased marginally by 1.04% at Rs 26,737.74 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 27,018.57 crore for the year ended March 31, 2017.
