Bharat Electronics slips on reporting 29% fall in Q4 net profit

Bharat Electronics is currently trading at Rs. 118.40, down by 4.50 points or 3.66 % from its previous closing of Rs. 122.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 118.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 120.15 and Rs. 117.10 respectively. So far 198549 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 192.95 on 29-Nov-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 112.55 on 16-May-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 125.25 and Rs. 115.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 28776.16 crore.

The company has reported a fall of 29.43% in its net profit at Rs 558.74 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 791.74 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 15.78% at Rs 3636.36 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 4317.62 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017.

For the year ended March 31, 2018, the company has posted a fall of 9.58% in its net profit at Rs 1399.29 crore as compared to Rs 1547.62 crore for the previous year. However total income of company increased by 10.30% at Rs 10600.99 crore for the year under review as compared to Rs 9611.45 crore for the year ended March 31, 2017.
