M&M reports 70% rise in Q4 net profit

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2018.  

The company has reported a rise of 70.33% in its net profit at Rs 1,059.09 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 621.78 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 9.07% at Rs 13,479.37 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 12,358.11 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017.

For the year ended March 31, 2018, the company has posted a rise of 19.56% in its net profit at Rs 4,356.01 crore as compared to Rs 3,643.39 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company marginally increased 3.60% at Rs 50,481.35 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 48,729.20 crore for year ended March 31, 2017.
