Reliance Industries trades in green on the BSE

Reliance Industries is currently trading at Rs. 932.00, up by 10.70 points or 1.16% from its previous closing of Rs. 921.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 921.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 934.90 and Rs. 919.10 respectively. So far 1998429 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1010.70 on 27-Apr-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 654.30 on 07-Jun-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 934.90 and Rs. 907.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 591454.28 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 47.45%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.84% and 16.72% respectively.

Reliance Industries (RIL) is reportedly planning to stop oil import from Iran, since the new US sanctions is compelling buyers to avoid oil purchases from Tehran. This move came after US President Donald Trump discarded 2015 nuclear agreement this month and ordered the re-imposition of US sanctions on Tehran.

Some sanctions may take effect after a 90-day wind-down period ending on August 06 and the rest, mainly on the petroleum sector, after a 180-day wind-down period ending on November 04.

RIL is India’s largest private sector company. The company’s activities span hydrocarbon exploration and production, petroleum refining and marketing, petrochemicals, retail and 4G digital services.
