NTPC’s two operating units ranks among 25 best power stations

State run NTPC’s two operating units, Talcher Thermal Power Station and Talcher Super Thermal Power Station were ranked among the 25 best power stations in the country. The ranking was done in terms of plant load factor (PLF) for the April-June quarter of the first fiscal. These units are situated in the Eastern Region II of NTPC.

NTPC is the largest power generating major in the country. It has also diversified into hydro power, coal mining, power equipment manufacturing, oil & gas exploration, power trading & distribution.
