Maruti Suzuki trades higher on the BSE

Maruti Suzuki India is currently trading at Rs. 8777.35, up by 27.00 points or 0.31% from its previous closing of Rs. 8750.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 8722.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 8815.50 and Rs. 8684.00 respectively. So far 14694 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 10000.00 on 20-Dec-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 7087.55 on 06-Jun-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 8844.00 and Rs. 8501.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 265528.37 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.21%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.65% and 7.15% respectively.

Maruti Suzuki India has reported 26% rise in its sales to 172,512 units in May 2018, as compared to 136,962 units in May 2017. Of total, the company sold 37,864 vehicles under mini segment (including Alto, Wagon R) in May 2018, as against 39,089 units sold in corresponding month previous year.

The total exports stood at 9,312 units in May 2018 as compared to 6,286 units exported in May 2017.
