-1.60 (-0.49%) Tata Motors is reportedly planning to launch 50 new variants and products in the commercial vehicle (CV) segment. The company is also intending to save Rs 19 billion through cost reduction initiatives during FY19. The companies cost saving for the last year came from the CV and passenger vehicle (PV) division of the domestic business. The company has done some cost saving by bringing efficiencies in procurement of raw material and components and alternate cost effective sourcing.
