Educomp Solutions reports marginal fall in Q1 net profit

Educomp Solutions has reported unaudited results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2011.

The company’s net profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2011 dipped 1.54% at Rs 43.54 crore as compared to Rs 44.22 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. Its net sales has grown by 11.51% at Rs 193.12 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 173.18 crore for the same quarter last year.

On consolidated basis, the Group’s net profit for the quarter has jumped 0.44% at Rs 36.64 crore as compared to Rs 36.48 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010. Its total income has increased by 25.76% at Rs 299.15 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 237.88 crore for the similar quarter of the previous year.
