Date: 03-07-2018Oil and Natural Gas Corporation’s (ONGC) board has given in-principle approval for exploring options for a restructuring of the group firms including the merger of subsidiaries MRPL and HPCL. The Board of Directors of the company at their meeting held on June 29, 2018, approved the same.
ONGC is India’s largest government-run corporation and produces about 70% of India’s crude oil and natural gas. The corporation is the biggest public sector commercial organization in India.
