FIIs stood as net sellers in equities on August 04, 2011: SEBI

The FIIs on Thursday were net sellers in equities and debt segments both, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 1906.10 crore against gross sell of Rs 2707.20 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 801.10 crore in equities on August 04, 2011.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 379.80 crore with gross sales of Rs 1549.00 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1169.20 crore in debt on August 04, 2011.
