FIIs net sellers of Rs 1391.83 crore in futures and options segments on August 04

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 1391.83 crore in futures and options segments on Thursday, August 04, 2011.

FII’s were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 635.51 crore and they sold index options worth Rs 588.37 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 157.94 crore and they also sold stock options to the tune of Rs 10.01 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on August 04, 2011 is 34.35%.
